The Schied Family

Last Christmas I decided to make "separating work from home" my new years resolution. It was something I so desperately needed to do, but anyone who knows me knows that I absolutely love interior design and I love my home (but especially workspace) to be pretty! I like to think a pretty workspace inspires me, and maybe it does, but ultimately I think that may just be an excuse to buy pretty things. So I started doing some research of how I was going to renovate one of our extra bedrooms into my office. I fell in love with the look of the white "Bedford" corner desk from Pottery Barn but didn't love the price tag so much. Although worth every penny, this particular desk was SO out of my budget so I started scanning my local Craigslist in search of a used one. To my surprise, The Schied Family had just the one I was looking for! They helped me stay in budget with the funds I had set aside for my dream desk and graciously accepted the rest of the payment with a Stevie Dee Photography gift certificate! Turns out they were also in desperate need of updated family photos! So...that is how I met this sweet family! Crazy small world, huh?

We made the trek to Owl Creek, a quaint farm located on the outskirts of Temecula Wine Country. I absolutely adore this venue and think it made the perfect scenery for their natural, rustic style!
