Would you ever guess this photography session took place at a local Christmas tree farm?

After wrapping up our 2015 Holiday Mini Shoots only weeks prior, we returned to this location to photograph the Witt Family-- a mere 2 days before Christmas! Despite the seasonal timing and festive location, this heartwarming family session will have you smiling year round. This charming family was a pleasure to work with; their candid humor and infectious laughter is reflected in nearly every frame.  

Of notable mention, Kyle Witt has been crowned Miss Murrieta. We were none too surprised to learn this! Her photogenic nature and natural poise made our job easy! But more than her accolades and accomplishments, we loved seeing her as her favorite title, 'Big Sister', most of all.   

William is a child with special needs whose fiery red hair matches the vibrancy of his spirit. His affectionate nature and nearly tangible energy added so much raw emotion to this photography session. The sweet interactions between the two siblings made for amazing candid shots.

The Witt's had to postpone their original session date to accommodate scheduling conflicts. They had originally intended for this shoot to be a styled, Christmas session but life happens and thankfully they rolled with it!  

Personally, we loved the opportunity to return to the Christmas tree farm and to explore the property's diverse surroundings. We managed to shoot around multiple sections of this spacious farm without nary a fir in sight! (If you look closely in the photo below, you will in fact, spot some Christmas trees. Did you find them?!)

As always, the most rewarding part of this job is capturing memorable moments for our clients. Often however, it's our clients who impart memorable, lasting moments with us. It was a joy to photograph the Witt Family. May they treasure these memories for years to come!
